My eyes and ears have been opened to exciting new ways to record sound, and suddenly the microtrak, upon which I have always previously depended, seems woefully inadequate. Been using a pair of akg mikes, through a motu into a laptop, with the intention of recording stereo sound for Yuki’s opus. Sitting in a tent in the early hours, in the middle of nowhere, with enhanced super human hearing. Have rarely had more fun. Was supposed to be helping, but regarded it more as a learning experience.
